A 4-week English course in Malta with school accommodation costs €1,707.50–1,822.50 in low season (shared room, arrival transfer and eco-contribution included), according to Maltalingua's and IH Malta's official 2026 price lists. In summer it rises to €2,215.50–2,362.50. Below: weekly prices for each type of accommodation, what each includes, and the extras that don't appear in the headline price.

2. Weekly prices (official 2026 lists)
Per person per week. At IH Malta, high season runs 1 June – 31 August. At Maltalingua, November–March is the lowest rate, spring and autumn the middle one, and 21 June – 30 August the highest.

Maltalingua also offers a "stay with a teacher" option (from €399 a week, twin) and charges €49 a week for an ensuite. At IH Malta, a single room with private bathroom in a host family costs €455 in low season.
3. What you pay in total: 4 weeks

In summer IH Malta charges €245 a week for the course and €315 for the residence; Maltalingua adds €50 a week to the course from 22 June to 28 August and the flat goes up to €273. If your dates are flexible, see the best time to study English in Malta: the gap is around €500 for a month.
4. What the headline price leaves out
- Compulsory transfer: IH Malta and Maltalingua require it if you stay with them (€25 on arrival). ETI Malta includes it free when you book their accommodation.
- Eco-contribution: since 1 July 2026, €1.50 per night for guests aged 18+, capped at €22.50 per stay.
- Deposit: €50, refundable, at IH Malta's Belview residence.
- Special diets: €70 a week with IH Malta host families (vegan, gluten-free or vegetarian), the same as full board.
- Check-in times: Belview from 13:00, check-out by 11:00; at Maltalingua rooms may not be ready until 15:00 and check-out is by 10:00.
- Towels: bring your own, including beach towels, to Maltalingua's flats.
5. Book with the school or on your own?
With the school, your room, transfer and dates are matched to the course. On your own you have more choice, but you search, negotiate and sign yourself.
